Gateway Guide

The Destination

Cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, its extensive World Heritage Site includes the banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter, Andrássy Avenue, Heroes' Square and the Millennium Underground Railway, the second oldest in the world.

Getting around is easy!Although walking is probably your best bet, streetcars 2, 4 and 6 as well as the three subway lines are also good options to get to most places in the city.

As the keeper of several major attractions in Europe – the first Underground Railroad on the continent, the third largest Parliament building in the world and the largest synagogue in Europe – Budapest has no shortage of things to see.

Dining in Hungary’s capital can be an amazing experience. Hungary is well known for its wine and cuisine and the restaurant scene in Budapest is getting more and more sophisticated.

Night life

Looking for a fitting scene to live it up?Exclusive clubs, underground snugs, ruin pubs and open air venues will spice up your night!

Very well located little studio, and very well heated, which was very appreciated given the -6 degrees outside!

We had a lovely time in Budapest! The location of the apartment was perfect for us. Close to the centre, good restaurants, the parliament and a little park.
